Shot back when she was a fresh-faced rookie at SKW, Sapphire’s sudden challenge to veteran Helena (an all KOs match!) seems ill-advised, and it looks like experience is destined to win the day as Helena opens with a headlock takedown, jujigitame armlock/neckscissors, and a tight cobra clutch that slowly puts Sapphire down and out. The first KO point issued, helena confidently wakes Sapphire up, hip-tossing her to the mat and applying a brutal standing neck scissors… Certain of her impending win, Helena fails to notice Sapphire’s hands reaching for her feet. One quick double leg-sweep later and Helena is on her back, trapped in Sapphire’s wear-down choke hold and follow-up boston crab! Sapphire’s anger is released via multiple stomps and a vicious baby swing that leaves Helena screaming in pain….leading to Sapphire’s first point via sidewalk slam KO. The Cuban Destroyer then wakes Helena up for belly buster that leaves the Russian fighter open to a powerful sleeper hold that does the trick for point # 2. Sapphire’s on a roll now, nailing a hardcore torture rack backbreaker, jackhammer blows, and a python-like single-legged neck scissors that puts Helena’s lights out for point # 3! That leaves but a few minutes on the clock…and as well all know by now, that can only mean a WIDOW’S PEAK KO for one unlucky loser…one who’s destined to lay out cold and pinned for the final victory pose!
